The Bothy is based in the upstairs function room which is served by a lift. There is also a 75 seater Cinema, a Bar and small lounge downstairs. If you’re cycling, you can park in the alley. If you’re walking, the train station is 5 minutes away and buses go along Lord Street. The nearest car parking areas are marked with a P on the map the nearest being Sainsburys Car Park, (o.k. to park at night)

1st Monday and 3rd Monday sessions at The Guesthouse are still on.

Looking forward to some fab guests in the New Year. Pete Morton, Scolds Bridle, Liz Simcock, George Sansome (Granny’s Attic)

The Bothy Folk Song Club is saddened to have to report the sudden passing of the club's long-term organiser and our esteemed friend, Clive Pownceby, on Tuesday 4th January. This unexpected loss, so soon before our grand reopening at our new venue, has left all Bothy folk shocked and grief-stricken. Our thoughts and sympathies are especially with Jean, his partner for nearly 50 years. RIP Clive.
