+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

1. What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

Wonder why I'm still exhausted. I think I was born tired. When I emerged, I didn't give a first cry - it was a yawn!

2. What song do you wish you had written?

'Younger Generation' - John Sebastian. " And now I know that all I've learned, my kid assumes. And all my deepest problems must be his cartoons." That really does sum it all up

3. What is the best advice you've ever received?

Delivered at 4AM many years back. "Stick to the Mild son!"

4. What is your most treasured material possession?

A small gilt medallion that my Mum gave my Dad in 1939 and which he carried with him all through the War. It's inscribed with a quotation from Psalm 62 "Trust in Him at all times."

5. What characteristic do you think you have inherited from your parents?

Dogged tenacity!

6. Pick 4 words that describe yourself.

Worrier, loyal, reflective, obsessive.

7. Is there one piece of criticism that sticks in your mind?

Part of a tirade from a singer I declined to book. "You think you're God you.

You're selling your audience short. I'm worth hearing. I'm good you know?" A tad

egotistical or what? I think I made the correct decision but I sometimes think, er, was he

right?!

8. What is your most unpleasant characteristic?

Impatience. I tend to take out frustration on inanimate objects, like Basil Fawlty!

Oh, and I can do moody rather well too.

9. Are you afraid of failure?

Familiarity doesn't necessarily breed contempt but I don't embrace it! I'll just grumpily pick myself up and give it another go.

10. What do you never leave home without?

As a non-driver, something to read and a Walkman. Dylan said to keep a

clear head and always carry a light bulb. There's something in that too.

11. When you look in the mirror, do you like what you see?

No, someone much older stares back.

12. Who would you most like to meet?

Difficult to choose between Cyndi Lauper and Amelia Earhart. I like

women's company! However one was born in 1897 and hasn't been heard

of in a while. Both free spirits with brains, - I admire that combination of independence and

willfulness.

13. Have you anything to declare?

Not this time. I do enough of that already
